Incroyable *o*

Acabo de hacer estas fotos hace 5 minutos. Parece que la ciudad ha leído mis quejas sobre el tiempo aquí y lo que echo de menos el sol español y ha pensado "Pesada, siempre de mala uva por el tiempo! Que echas el de menos el sol del sur?! Pues toma sol alemanorro!". Y aquí está! El tomatillo de mi ventana está extasiado, la florecilla más alegre que unas pascuas y yo me voy a la calle escopeteada, bieeeen!!! PS: Las fotos no están retocadas, la luz es como se ve y mis tomates y plantas tienen cara :p

I just took these pictures 5 minutes ago. Seems that the city read my complains about the weather here and how much I miss the spanish sun and has thought "You silly, always grumpy because of the weather! You miss southern sun! So take this german one!" And here it is! The mini tomato in my window is in total extasis, the tiny flower thrilled and happy and I´m going out right now!!! PS: The pictures have not been retouched, light is as shown and my plants and tomatoes have faces :p

Saelee Oh: arts & crafts ^w^

Saelee Oh es una de las artistas que más me gustan últimamente. Bueno, de hecho hace años ya que me gusta pero sus últimos trabajos me han llamado mucho la atención y creo que son preciosos... Saelee vive felizmente en California, ese paraíso de sol y creatividad a punta pala, y pinta, garabatea y sobretodo hace unas composiciones a base de papel recortado que te caes de culo (arriba, aunque tiene obras más grandes y complejas). Creo que la técnica es japonesa y se llama Kirigami y creo también que habrá que probarla... Sea como sea, Saelee se lo monta la mar de bien con las tijeras. Además, y como buena amante de crafts, añade incluso telas o puntadas a sus dibujos... :)

Me encantan los colores que utiliza, sus animalitos, ese aire oriental y vintage, sus flores y pequeños objetos por todos lados. Saelee Oh is one of my favourite artists so lately. Well, there´s years now I like her, but her latest works specially catched my atention and I think they´re simply beautiful... Saelee happily lives in California, that paradise of sun and creativity where she paints, doodles and mainly makes wonderful compositions with cutted paper (above, wether she has bigger and more complex stuff). I think the technique is japanese and called Kirigami, and I think too that I should try it sometime... Anyway, Saelee seems to have a great relationship with scissors and cutters and great talent. Also, and as a craft lover, she adds sometimes fabrics and stitches to her drawings and paintings... :) I love the colors she uses, her sweet animals, that asian influence and vintage look, her flowers and the small details everywhere. Había que ponerlo ^w^

No recuerdo de dónde saqué esta foto pero había que ponerla porque es demasié, no se puede se más mono ni más tierno, que me lo comía a besos y me lo llevaría a todas partes guardado en el bolsillo... Yo tenía un conejito parecido a este pero era blanco y con los ojos súper grandes y súper negros, y pelito negro también alrededor de esos ojazos, que parecía que se había puesto eye liner. Cuando me lo regalaron era muy pequeño, cabía en mi mano, y adorablemente torpe, le resbalaban las patitas sobre el parquet al caminar y dormía hecho una bolita. Me acompañó durante años y luego se fue al cielo... Cuando tropiezo con fotos como la de hoy, me acuerdo de él y me salta la lagrimilla... En fin Pilarín... Que aquí estoy de nuevo. Lo que esperaba que fuese un descanso se convirtió otra vez en horas delante del ordenador, así que tendré que esperar a las ansiadas vacaciones que por suerte cada vez están más cerquita para respirar en serio. La verdad es que las necesito. Llevo años sin ellas, tantos que no lo digo porque me da hasta vergüenza... Uuufff... Irónicamente, mis últimas vacaciones fueron en Berlín, donde ahora vivo... Aunque por aquel entonces hacía mucho mejor tiempo, el sol brillaba y todo. Queridas compatriotas, aunque Berlín me encanta el tiempo es fatal y echo muchísimo de menos el sol español, la luz y el calorcito. Desde hace algunas semanas aquí se vuelve a llevar la lana, el abrigo y el calcetín gordo, y no mola naaaada... Can´t remember from where I took this photo, but I had to post it as it´s the cutest and most tender lil´thing. As we say in spanish (and hoping my weid translation is understood), I would "eat him with/of kisses", and take him everywhere, kept in my pocket... I once had a bunny looking like this one, but he got white fur and with veeeryyy big black eyes and black hair aroud them too, looked like he had put eye liner... When I first got him he was really small, fitting in my hand, and his little legs adorably slipped on the wooden floor while walking... He accompanied me for many years then passed away... When I see pictures like this one I remember him and a tear comes out... And so... here I am again... What I was hoping would be a little rest turned (again) into hours working in front of the computer, so I´ll have to wait to the already close and dreamed holidays to "breathe" a bit. I really need holidays. There´s so many years I´m not having that I don´t say cause I even feel ashamed of... Ufff! And, ironically, my last holidays where in Berlin, where I live now. Just that back these days weather was much better, sun was even shining! Besides loving Berlin, I miss a lot the spanish sun the light, the warmth... Since few weeks wool, coat and thick socks are a must-have in here, and I dont´t like iiiiiitttt....

Hace unos meses uno de mis amigurumis, Anita, me dió el salto y se fugó con Joaquín, buena prueba de su historia de amor es esta foto (que me encanta). Some months ago one of my amigurumis, Anita, started an affair then ran away with Joaquín, a good proof of it is this picture (wich I love)... Quite logic in fact, as Joaquín is irresistible, I confess that I´m having something with him too and that it happens to be a magical relationship... Don´t panic girls, there´s Joaquín for everybody here and here!

Emedemarta es amor ^w^

Bueno, este es un post mega atrasado y aunque seguro que ya lo sabéis todas, hay que ponerlo. Marta ha inaugurado dos nuevas tiendas online (súper esperadas) en Etsy y Dawanda con sus maravillosos productos que son todo amor, súper delicados, hechos con mucho cariño y buen gusto. Bajo mi opinión, una de las mejores crafters a todos los niveles. Y ahora ya podemos disfrutar de sus colgantes y monederos, yupiiii!!! This is a very belated post and even if I´m sure most of you already know, I have to write about it. Marta has opened two new online shops in Etsy and Dawanda with her wonderful products that inspire 100% love, very delicate, made with lot of care and "savoir faire". Under my opinion, one of the best crafters at all levels. Happily we can already enjoy her pendants and purses, indulge yourself! Congratulations Marta for such a beautiful collection and shops, wishing you lot of success! ^w^ PS: "Emedemarta", her brand, means "M of Marta" in spanish. We pronounce the M letter "eme"...

Alicia es como una especie de Shiva con 8 brazos capaces de manejar al tiempo 5 tiendas online (si no he perdido ya la cuenta), un Flickr tremendísimo, una marca de handmade de caerse la baba junto a su súperamiga y artista Elisa, "Sirena con jersey", otra de amigurumis, "Crochettes" y lo más importante, su tienda/galería Duduá en nuestra ciudad, Barcelona, con blog incluído. Sin duda es la persona más activa que he conocido en mucho tiempo y encima no sé cómo se lo hace pero entre tanto trabajo siempre consigue estar remonísima y llena de energía. Como novedad, Alicia nos regala un nuevo blog cargado de preciosidades que va encontrando por el mundo, como la tetera de la foto de este post. Ya mencioné una vez que Ali es la "cute hunter" por excelencia y lo mantengo. Alicia is like an 8-arm Shiva capable to manage at a time 5 online shops (if I didn´t loose the count already), an amazing Flickr, ultra cute "Sirena con jersey" handmade brand together with her friend and artist Elisa, yet another amigurumi brand, "Crochettes" and most important, her shop/gallery Duduá in our city, Barcelona, blog included. Without any doubt she´s the most active person that I´ve met in a long time and I´d really like to know how, beneath so much works, she can still look so cute, stylish and full of energy. As a novelty, Alicia brings us a new blog full of precious things she finds around the world, like the tea pot in the picture. I already mentioned once that "Ali" is a total "cute hunter" and I still maintain it. La vuelta al cole! ^w^

Hola reinas! Sí, lo sé, vaya cuelgue... Casi 3 meses... Uuuufff... Ni yo misma me he pasado por mi propio blog durante todo este tiempo, ahora mismo acabo de ver algunos comentarios que habéis dejado preguntando que qué me pasó, gracias por el interés guapas... En fin, lo que ha pasado es que, contrariamente a lo normal, me ha venido todo el curro este verano, de golpe y a saco, por lo que he estado dale que te pego con el lápiz y luego Photoshop horas, días y semanas... El porqué tanto curro en esta época del año en la que tod@s deberíamos estar remojando los pies en la playa y luciendo bikini pues la verdad es que no lo sé, y de hecho mi teoría sobre las temporadas del año en las que se consiguen más freelance se ha ido al traste. Pero trabajo es trabajo y siempre se agradece sea cuando sea... En definitiva no he tenido vacaciones y he acabado agotada aunque satisfecha, y aunque todavía sigo con algunos proyectos, ahora voy más relajada y espero poder postear con más frecuencia. Además, con la de cosas que hay por comentar! Tengo una lista megalarga de posts que quiero poner... Empezando por este. Espero y deseo que hayáis pasado todas muy buen verano! ^w^
